Working and living across 10 countries on multiple continents, Edwin brings more than 25 years of experience across Banking, Strategy, Executive Management, Financial Crime (AML), Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance, Digital Transformation, and Innovation. His career is defined by senior leadership roles at the intersection of regulation, technology, and large-scale transformation, with a strong track record of delivering results in complex, international environments.
Edwin is Co-Founder and CEO of ARevolution.org, focusing on Financial Crime, Cybersecurity, Quantum, and AI. He is also a Partner at WhiteCastle Monaco and a Board Advisor and Mentor at Vroom Monaco. Previously, he was a Member of the Group Executive Team of Rabobank Australia & New Zealand, holding senior and Group Executive roles subject to formal regulatory fit-and-proper approval.
He is a frequent international speaker on innovation, AI, cybersecurity, quantum, financial crime, and FoodTech, and a co-author of multiple books in the innovation and Food & Agri space.
Throughout his career, Edwin has held key leadership roles including:
Co-creating the Rabobank Group strategic framework in direct collaboration with the Group Executive and Supervisory Board;
Leading large, international and cross-functional teams;
Overseeing a major cross-border banking merger in Switzerland, integrating governance, risk, commercial, and operating models.
Co-founder of two successful regulated digital banks
Expert contributor to EU-wide Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) regulatory programs, supporting harmonisation, advanced data intelligence, and cross-border collaboration.
Leading major AML transformation & remediation programs
Co-founder of multiple global platforms, including Global Master Classes, F20, Farm2Fork Summit, and Food & Agri knowledge-sharing ecosystems.
Earlier in his career, he built equity and derivatives trading risk management and straight-through processing (STP) capabilities in Luxembourg, strengthening market risk control and operational resilience.
He has mentored more than 50 global startups and scale-ups, advising on governance, growth, and international expansion.
Beyond his professional work, Edwin is a passionate advocate for addressing the Global Food Challenge and reducing food waste. He is an Advocate and Executive Sponsor of the Australian Network on Disability, championing inclusive leadership and accessibility.
